Strictly star, 50, quietly welcomed child without anyone realising

Strictly Come Dancing fans are delighted after discovering that Iwan Thomas has expanded his family.

The Welsh sprinter, 50, recently shared a picture of his new baby along with his two other children on Instagram describing them as 'his world' in the caption.

He has welcomed his son with his long-term partner, who he has never named publicly because he wants to keep his personal life private.

The Olympic medalist first shared news of his bundle of joy, named Bowie, in February.

Alongside two pictures of Bowie yawning, Iwan wrote: 'It's a tough life being nearly 2 weeks old #cute#baby#boy#Bowie#tired.'

His loved ones and followers flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages and expressed their pleasant surprise.

Dancing On Ice star Greg Rutheford was among the first to send his well wishes exclaiming: 'SO CUTE!!!!'

Instagram user Kirsty Martin wrote: 'Oh you've had another baby, so cute Congratulations xx.'

Tracey Barrie described Iwan as 'blessed', while Gilly Jane commented that he must be 'so proud.'

Iwan is already a dad to sons Teddy, five, and Dougie, two.

Teddy was born premature and was rushed to intensive care after he had 'trouble breathing.'

Doctors later found he had and nearly died from a bacterium, Group Strep B, and Iwan went on to raise awareness of the disease.

Iwan appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015 and was paired with professional dancer Ola Jordan.

He was the first contestant to be eliminated with The WantedsingerJay McGuinessandAliona Vilanicrowned winners.

Iwan's other TV work includes Celebrity Hunted, The Wright Stuff, Through The Keyhole and Celebrity MasterChef.
