IN her first days of freedom, Gypsy Rose Blanchard called herself an "it girl" as she aced interviews on red carpets and in a flurry of TV shows.

But a body language expert has claimed that the convicted felon's blatant "Kardashian-style pitching" in the wake of her prison release has been telling.

Gypsy Rose shared a photo on her Instagram page posing in the sunlight wearing a yellow top on January 16.

Her hair fell neatly down her face as she smiled back at the camera.

A beautiful Louisiana morning, wrote the 32-year-old, who was convicted of second-degree murder for the killing of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, in 2015.

With the innocent face, but she so guilty, one follower reacted.

Why is the world glorifying this woman? another asked.

Body language expert Judi James claims Gypsy was using purr signals.

She said the former inmate's gestures suggest she's embracing being a fan favorite following a swift makeover after she left prison.

This is despite having a very different backstory.

Gypsy's stunningly fast makeover includes body language, hair, and styling.

In this photo, her lips are closed and scooped up gently at the corners.

"Her eyes look at her reflection with purr signals to her fans and express approval and self-love.

Gypsy posted her image as a fan favorite rather than someone working to promote serious causes or campaigns.

In the run-up to her documentary, The Prison Confessions Of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, she shared updates with her 6.7 million Instagram followers.

The Louisiana native also posted her first "freedom selfie" on Instagram on December 29, a day after she left prison.

James said Gypsy's posts already showed her posing just like a model.

Gypsy's first Instagram posts, including gestures and posing, are very telling," she said.

She used the classic celebrity selfie and beauty queen pose from the get-go.

She has the knee bent and a foot kick to create good leg and hip shape.

She placed the free hand on the hip, a dual-purpose gesture to create a partial splay.

This signaled confidence and displayed the wedding band on her ring finger.

Even the wrist is bent with the hand coming upward, which is a pose models are taught.

Gypsy's documentary lifts the lid on the abuse she endured growing up at the hands of her mother, Dee Dee, who had Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

Dee Dee convinced Gypsy-and several doctors-that she suffered from illnesses including epilepsy, muscular dystrophy, leukemia, and brain damage.

As a child, Gypsy often underwent painful medical treatments, including unnecessary surgeries, a feeding tube, and medications to treat conditions she didn't have.

In 2016, Gypsy was sentenced to 10 years behind bars after pleading guilty to plotting to kill her mother.

When her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, stabbed Dee Dee, Gypsy was hiding in the bathroom.

I had more freedom in prison than I ever had with my mother," she said during her first interview on Good Morning America.

But now she's truly free-and freely posting on social media.

A January 5 Instagram clip showed Gypsy getting glammed up for her press spree.

"America's newest it girl??" she captioned her post.

Gypsy later appeared on The View and shared another clip showing off her grey sweater and black leather shorts.

"Days in and Gypsy is in full, playful, teenager-style vlogger mode," claimed James.

"She poses to feature her garments like a fashion influencer.

"Her hands flap out at her sides and upward.

"Her leg performs a little kick like she's been vlogging for years.

"She signals an assumption of being liked here.

"It is as if she has a total right to be frivolous and playful."

She seems to embrace the spotlight and even bask in it rather than be dazzled by it

James claimed Gypsy Rose relishes the limelight.

"This is like a woman hatched from prison as a fully-grown celebrity, " she said.

She seems to embrace the spotlight and even bask in it rather than be dazzled by it.

Gypsy Rose should know that her life and tragic background hardly match the pampered Kardashians, said Judi James[/caption]

"Her poise, elegance, and influencer-style poses suggest high confidence levels.

Immediately, she has been greeting the public like friends and fans on social media.

"She has been pitching her documentary like a skilled veteran.

Gypsy should know that her life and tragic background hardly match the pampered Kardashians.

She must also realize the celebrity world can be fickle and hard.

"The Tall Poppy syndrome, where the public builds someone up to start to knock them back down, is common.

Gypsy has been supported on her media blitz by her new husband, whom she married while behind bars.

Louisana's teacher Ryan Scott Anderson had written her a letter during the Pandemic.

A month later, on July 21, 2022, the two tied the knot in an intimate prison ceremony.

On January 8, Gypsy and Ryan spoke to Hulu on the red carpet.

Gypsy's red carpet poses with Ryan might mimic the body language of stars or celebrity power couples, said James.

On one red carpet, she held her mic like a pro and used emphatic head-batons to make her points.

She has tried to blend her personal life and marriage with her 'advocacy' of promoting mental health awareness.

Some of her poses with her husband suggest she defines them as a new celebrity power couple.

Hopefully, Gypsy has a strong safety net of long-standing friends and family that she can rely on.

"Maybe fall back on for emotional support in the extended future.

Social media is notoriously fickle and so, sadly, are celebrity marriages."
