SHE MAY HAVE said "love is embarrassing," but Olivia Rodrigo might just have some of it in her life. Last Halloween, reports emerged that the singer-songwriter was dating British actor Louis Partridge.
Only a week after the pair were photographed on a night out together in London, The Sun ran a report writing that they "have been inseparable" since claiming Rodrigo flew to London especially to see her rumoured beau.
The March 22, 2024 release of Rodrigo's deluxe album, GUTS (spilled) all but confirmed the romance, with fans convinced one of her new tracks was penned with the actor in mind.

According to The Sun, yes. A source told the outlet, They met through mutual pals earlier in the year and have been messaging quite a bit."
They added, They have been for dinners and nights out. They hit a club together on Friday night and were acting very coupley. It's really sweet to see her happy.
However, neither party has confirmed the rumours. The "Good 4 U" singer told Vogue earlier this year that she doesn't kiss and tell," so if the rumours are indeed true, whether or not we will get confirmation remains to be seen.
What songs has Olivia Rodrigo written about Louis Partridge?
When it comes to love, Rodrigo's schtick is kind of being unlucky in it. From being obsessed with her boyfriend's exes, to going back to her own; her songs typically touch on themes of betrayal, heartbreak and anger. So naturally, one song on GUTS (Spilled), the deluxe version of her second album, took fans a little by surprise.
On "so amercian," Rodrigo sings: "And he laughs at all my jokes / And he says I'm so American / Oh, God, it's just not fair of him / To make me feel this much / I'd go anywhere he goes / And he says I'm so American / Oh, God, I'm gonna marry him / If he keeps this shit up / I might just be in love."
Fans quickly took to TikTok to theorise that the song was about her new beau, with one even joking, "everyone say thank you to Louis Partridge for this super cute love song … our girl is finally happy."
Rodrigo has previously said she won't publicly disclose who or what her songs are about, so we might never know for sure whether Partridge was her muse for the track. However, if he is, it's certainly safe to assume their relationship is going well, if her lyrics are anything to go by.
Who is Louis Partridge?
20-year-old Partridge has been acting since he was a child. His breakout role was as Lord Tewkesbury in 2020's Enola Holmes, in which he starred opposite Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown.
Notably, he played Sid Vicious in FX's Sex Pistols miniseries, Pistol in 2022. He also starred as Peter Pan in The Lost Girls and had minor roles in Paddington 2, Amazon Adventure and the television series Medici.
Prior to Rodrigo, Partridge was linked to his Pistol co-star Sydney Chandler, who is seven years his senior. He told The Face last May that he had a girlfriend who was an ex-friend turned girlfriend [who's] in the business.
The now-former couple attended the British Fashion Awards together in December 2022, but largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight.
