'Celebrity Big Brother made me a star on OnlyFans – but I've had enough now'
Celebrity Big Brother star Jemma Lucy has credited the reality show for boosting her subscribers on adult sites but now she wants to quit.
The TV star, who reached the finals of the show in 2017, later won by the late Sarah Harding, said she was 'grateful' for the Big Brother franchise for making her OnlyFans a success.
Jemma, 35, who also appeared on two series Ex on the Beach, admitted that itwas 'much harder' to earn a decent income without already having a 'fan base' from a reality TV career.
However, while the Signed by Katie Price star said she never wants to 'slam' X-rated sites as they have given her a better quality of life, she said she now wants to move on after five years.
She agreed that her stints on Celebrity Big Brother, which this year stars the likes of Louis Walsh, and Ex on the Beach 'definitely' fuelled her Only Fans career when asked in a recent interview.
'I mean to doOnlyFanswith no fan base is definitely much harder than if you go on these big shows. And I'm very grateful that I've had the chance to be on them to heighten that,' Jemma continued to the Daily Star.
'I do kind of want to get off there now, I've been on there for five years and I'll never slam it because it's given me the life that I'm able to live.
'But, you know, I might have made some bad decisions with certain content I've done with certain people, but you know, that's my issue and I'm just sort of correcting that over the next few years anyway.'
Jemma also weighed in on former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Ekin-Su Clclolu's controversial comments about OnlyFans, which sparked backlash from viewers.
The Love Island winner, 29, claimed she would never join up to the site, saying that she would 'rather have zero pounds than earn money the wrong way.'
Jemma said Ekin-Su would never become an OnlyFans star because she 'cares too much about what people think' but bet if she had no money that 'she would consider joining it.'
Jemma's first on-screen appeaance was on Brat Camp in 2005 before later competing on Signed by Katie Price where the prize was representation from the glamour model's management company.
Jemma's next reality TV move was Ex on the Beach on 2015, on which she appeared as the ex of Laura Summers.
She came in sixth place on the season 20 of Celebrity Big Brother, and was in the house alongside the likes of Sam Thompson, Amelia Lilly and Shaun Williamson.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
