The consumer stated she selected not to scan a can of jalapenos as a result of she didn't have the funds for to pay for it on the time.
A WALMART buyer has admitted to making an attempt to steal from self-checkout – but insisted she gained't do it again.
The consumer stated she selected not to scan a can of jalapenos as a result of she didn't have the funds for to pay for it on the time.
"It was solely a can of jalapenos but I'm nonetheless a thief," TikToker Natashagodsent (@nata1981) stated in her video.
"I repented and gained't do it again."
The consumer admitted she didn't have the funds for to buy the jalapenos, however nonetheless went via the line and scanned her other gadgets one after the other.
When she received to her canned gadgets, she intentionally skipped the can of jalapenos.
"Swiftly the machine goes [off]," she stated.

The consumer stated a Walmart employee approached her on the kiosk the place she was and pulled up the safety digital camera.
After reviewing the footage, he advised the thief she had forgotten to scan the jalapenos.
The consumer stated she couldn't consider she obtained stopped because she allegedly saw individuals at the self-checkout kiosks stealing greater, costlier gadgets than she did.
The consumer finally paid for the can and stated she had discovered her lesson and was fortunate enough to have left the retail big unscathed.

Users in the feedback applauded the consumer's honesty and willingness to own up to her mistakes.

One other consumer revealed the rationale why the alarm went off for the failed thief.
"They have a weight scale to ensure after you scan it that you simply set it in the bagging area," revealed a consumer.
This video comes after Walmart closed over 20 shops, citing theft& issues and& low-profit margins.
The increase in theft has been blamed mainly on the& self-checkout kiosks& at major retailers
Walmart staff must ask consumers if they will& check their receipts on their way out& of the shop to catch potential shoplifters.
