Amy Dowden has spoken with gratitude for her Strictly Come Dancing co-stars who 'rescued' her after a cancer analysis in 2023.

Last week, the dancing star, 33, announced she had been told there was 'no evidence of disease' following months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy remedy.

Amy was recognized with breast most cancers after which 'one other type of cancer' in Might 2023, with the Strictly professional detailing the trials and tribulations of her remedy plan throughout final yr.

The dancing celebrity then revealed that she now plans to ensure the second collection will be picked up by BBC One after being commissioned by BBC Wales.

Amy is booked and busy in 2024 as she's also accepted a job on Lorraine, as part of the presenting group.

'It's been a troublesome yr however this is something I'm so enthusiastic about and may't wait to get started,' she advised The Mirror.

Lorraine Kelly added: 'We're thrilled to have Amy be a part of the Lorraine family. We all the time adore it when Amy is on the show, and know our viewers do too, so we will't wait to see more of her.

'She's had an extremely robust yr and overcome it with such grace, I'm so excited to welcome her to the show.'

On Friday, she shared her happy news with the world, celebrating on Instagram: 'No proof of illness! Words I dreamed of! My largest accomplishment but!

'I gained't be getting the all-clear for 5 years especially with a hormone fed cancer. However it was all value it. Words I never thought I'd hear at one point.

'So grateful for all the care I acquired and proceed to have. To my family and associates who supported me unconditionally and to you guys! Thank you!'

It made an enormous change from the replace she shared earlier in February, after revealing she was rushed to the hospital with respiratory points – fortunately all was nicely after some remedy and care.
