A JAMES Bond audiobook narrator has admitted altering Ian Fleming's novel because it makes 007 sound like a creepy intercourse offender.
Martin Jarvis, 82, was given the job of recording a new audio model of Casino Royale.
Asked whether or not he needed to "tweak" the 1953 unique, Mr Jarvis stated: "Oh goodness yes.
"Bond's angle to ladies in some of these novels is barely creepy.
"There are one or two when, not to put too fantastic some extent on it, he's nearly raping ladies."
Mr Jarvis, additionally a distinguished radio and TV actor, added: "So I have to slice away a number of the things he says."
Asked if a lady might be 007, he stated: "To say it needs to be a man feels flawed.
"However, I'd be sorry to lose the Bondness of Bond."
