NEIGHBOURS have been left fuming after a faculty all of a sudden opened simply metres away from their houses with no warning.
Those dwelling in Norton, Stoke-on-Trent, stated the "screams are horrendous" as youngsters take to the tarmac outdoors the building.
Outraged residents stated have been left blindsided when Abbey Hill Faculty opened before the beginning of the new educational yr in September.

Neighbour Christine Lowndes blasted: "This is appalling. We now have requested the council how they notified us.
"All I get back is a letter saying 'I'm sorry you don't assume the consultation was clear'. There wasn't any! I can't find one resident within the area who knew something about it.
"I've no objection to the youngsters and I might still maintain the same objections if they have been youngsters without particular wants.
"The playground is one metre from my residence and the noise is horrendous."
Residents stated the centre was initially planned to be a creche however they now should cope with screaming teenagers.
If the noise wasn't sufficient, Christine stated play gear, gravel and chalk is thrown in the direction of her wall.
Fellow neighbour Adam Jefferies stated the noise is so robust it's like dwelling next to a& football& pitch.
He stated: "The youngsters are noisy and the playground has an echo effect.
"One other neighbour data the noise ranges, it's reaching over 100 decibels daily. It's like being at a football match.
Residents have now issued an official grievance to Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
Christine defined: "I've a proper to be consulted when council officers are making selections which might be detrimental to my life. As an alternative they're ignoring us. They're hoping we're going to get fed up and go away."
However some really feel to have been left down by the council – which isn't addressing the difficulty.
Adam stated: "Each time we converse to a council official no one appears to care or have an interest.
"We've got put in an official grievance. The council should have let us know. I need to shine a light-weight on how disgraceful the council has been. I'm disgusted how the system lets individuals down."
Stoke-on-Trent City Council stated the matter is being investigated.
A council spokesperson stated: "We will affirm that we've acquired these complaints and are wanting into the matter consistent with our traditional complaints procedure."
Abbey Hill Faculty has been approached for comment.
It comes as a couple won the support of their local council after a neighbour allegedly complained concerning the Crazy Frog mural on their wall.
