Receipt checks are a measure many giant retailers take that would ask clients to point out their proof of purchase as they depart the store.

Caged Fowl Media (@MediaCaged) stated they might not comply with the measure until Walmart makes a policy change.

"Anyhow I'll refuse every time till you convey again cashiers," they stated within the post.

The consumer additionally questioned the retailer's success with the controversial measure.

This shopper has joined a rising development of consumers who have taken to social media to complain about receipt checks.

Many other consumers have additionally stated that they do not stop and take part, The U.S. Sun has previously reported.

One shopper defined why he never handed his receipt over to Walmart employees.

"So I'm leaving Walmart and I don't give my receipt once I depart," he stated.

"I'm not impolite to the individuals on the door, but I don't give my receipt."

In a video posted to TikTok, AngryCollector (@angrycollector) stated he informed a member of employees that he was joyful to point out his receipts at Costco and never at Walmart.

"'No, I'm going to Costco, I'll present them my receipt trigger I signed a contract with them while I present it to them. However you have got a superb day,'" the TikToker reportedly stated to the member of employees.

He added that the member of employees responded and stated "How grown of you."

This set the consumer off into a rant in response to the comment.

'You don't know my fu**ing backstory, what happened to me at Walmart, what made me not need to get my fu**ing receipt out," he stated.
