Latest blow for rapist who faked his own death and fled the country
US fugitive Nicholas Rossi is set to go on trial for allegedly faking his own death and fleeing the country to avoid rape charges after his plea deal was withdrawn. Rossi, also known as Nicholas Alahverdian and his alleged alias Arthur Knight, is facing two rape charges in the US. He was extradited from Scotland following a lengthy process in early 2022. The wheelchair-bound suspect is accused of raping a 21-year-old woman in Orem, Utah and his 26-year-old ex-girlfriend in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2008.
