Perhaps Jeff Goldblum would like to retattle the retittle of his rebuttals during the *RuPaul's Drag Race* season 12 debate challenge.

Iconic queens Jaida Essence Hall, Heidi N Closet, Jackie Cox, and Crystal Methyd stopped by the final episode of *EW's BINGE* podcast to tell hosts Joey Nolfi and Jillian Sederholm about one of the most hilarious improvised moments of season 12, in which Goldblum — a guest judge and participant on episode 9's mock political summit — hilariously went off-script. And the ensuing chaos gave us perhaps season 12's best quote.

"I think we must admire the improv skills of our hosts, who took us in a different direction. There was a little bit of stuff we didn't know how to answer because they were questions that we were like, A, this wasn't part of the official debate prep, and B, there were things we knew we couldn't answer because he was asking us to sing some copyrighted songs!" Cox recalls as her season 12 sisters erupt with laughter around her. "I think Jeff Goldblum was just trying to have fun with us!"

Though Closet squeals "hijacked the challenge!" in the background, Hall is quick to clarify Goldblum's approach to the challenge was a lighthearted attempt to enliven the moment: "I don't think he tried to sabotage us, he just didn't understand the assignment!" she says. "Which, then, we also felt like we didn't understand the assignment, and that's when I changed my [approach]. I was like, I'll just do whatever!"

Adds Cox: "That's why Jaida was the winner of this challenge, because Jaida was like, 'Alright, then I'm going to throw out everything I prepared and I'm just going to say look over there!'"

Elsewhere on the episode, the queens discuss Crystal genuinely not knowing who El DeBarge was when RuPaul affectionately compared her to the recording artist, Jackie gets emotional over her American flag hijab moment on the runway, and Jaida (season 12 winner) and Heidi (Miss Congeniality) discuss their lasting impact as the first pair of Black queens to take titles on a single season of the show.

Rock M. Sakura — eliminated second, far before her proper time — also delivers the *Snatch Game* performance she never got to give on the show as a foul-mouthed Helen Kane, the voice of beloved cartoon character Betty Boop, and *Bootleg Opinions* host Yuhua Hamasaki remixes a runway look with her signature taste for impeccable design.

After a record-winning Emmy's sweep, *Schitt's Creek* still had one big to-do on its checklist: drop the final season on Netflix, where many of the show's fans had first discovered the Pop TV/CBC comedy.

That treat came a bit early, but for everyone watching the sixth season for the first (or tenth) time, we have an extra reward for you: co-creator and star Dan Levy (who plays David) returned to *EW's BINGE* podcast for a special bonus episode. Levy breaks down the biggest controversies of the season, shares a poignant memory from Emmy's night about co-star Annie Murphy (Alexis), reveals that an alternate ending of the series was shot, and speculates what David and Patrick (played by Noah Reid) would dress up as for Halloween.

Schitts Creek

We also revisit some of our favorite interviews from the *EW On Set* podcast, which had weekly companion episodes for every week of season six's original airing, including a never-before-heard riff by Catherine O'Hara (Moira) about a viral video she was obsessed with, extended and uncut interviews with Murphy and Dustin Milligan (Ted) about their characters' long-distance struggle, and Eugene Levy (Johnny) and special guest star Victor Garber (who steps in for one episode as Moira's former soap opera nemesis) talk about first meeting during a 1972 production of *Godspell* in Toronto. Plus, we assemble all of our favorite celebrity name drops from throughout the season, and the best Moira-isms.

SINGAPORE (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump and China's Xi Jinping concluded talks on Thursday at a South Korean air base with both leaders sounding optimistic about cooling trade tension between the world's two largest economies.

Trump said he struck a deal to reduce tariffs on China in exchange for Beijing resuming U.S. soybean purchases, keeping rare earths exports flowing and cracking down on illicit trade of fentanyl.

Here are comments from investors and market analysts:

KYLE RODDA, SENIOR MARKET ANALYST, CAPITAL.COM, MELBOURNE:

"At the moment, the price action makes things seem like a lot of this was already priced-in.

"The markets rallied at the start of the week on the expectations of the fentanyl tariff cut and soybean purchases.

"Arguably, the markets were hoping for the complete removal of the fentanyl tariff, so that could explain the ambivalence."

VINCENT CHAN, CHINA STRATEGIST, ALETHEIA CAPITAL, HONG KONG:

"The details are very sketchy ... at the end of the day, overall tariffs for Chinese goods will be made quite similar to other Southeast Asian countries.

"The bottom line is that China and the United States are probably the most important strategic competitors of each other.

"So you cannot expect the kind of trade agreement we saw during the globalisation era ... any agreement will be unstable in nature, both sides could change."

"In a way, you can say that the market remains volatile, reacting to the good and bad news. But it's much less volatile compared to April.

"I think gradually, people will just look at the two (leaders), they will counter threaten each other."

"But at the end, both sides have enough bargaining chips in their hands to prevent the worst case scenario."

MARCO SUN, CHIEF FINANCIAL MARKET ANALYST, MUFG BANK (CHINA), SHANGHAI:

"The U.S.-China meeting has calmed financial markets, with the agreement signalling that future cooperation remains open for discussion.

"It is anticipated that the meeting will pave the way for deeper trade and economic discussions between the two countries. Long-term relations and industrial developments are expected to be reshaped through mutual compromise."

EMANUEL DATT, PRINCIPAL, DATT CAPITAL, MELBOURNE:

"Now there seems to be a trade agreement, I expect there to be broad equity market upside across sectors - the strongest likely to be high beta stocks such as technology and biotech - as well as conventional sectors such as logistics.

"The weakest equity sectors should be gold and rare earth equities."

TARECK HORCHANI, HEAD OF DEALING, PRIME BROKERAGE, MAYBANK SECURITIES, SINGAPORE:

"The U.S.–China trade truce is likely to be greeted as a relief rally rather than a structural reset.

"When such truces occur, one of the first areas both sides highlight is agriculture, a politically sensitive sector in the United States, where farmers form a key constituency.

"Overall, this looks like a tactical pause rather than a strategic breakthrough, with underlying tensions in technology, supply chains and rare earths still unresolved."

DICKIE WONG, HEAD OF RESEARCH, KINGSTON SECURITIES, HONG KONG:

"I don't see there's any major optimistic surprise at this point, both for the markets and the U.S.-China talks.

"It's still that same question - after the meeting ends, does it really mean the two countries will have a joint statement, and then the U.S. will roll back all tariffs on China, drop tech curbs, and China will export rare earths again? I don't see any possibility.

"The markets have already priced in much of the positives and there could be an 'anti-climax' development."

MUHAMMAD SAIFUDDIN BIN SAPUAN, ECONOMIST, KENANGA INVESTMENT BANK, KUALA LUMPUR:

"I think this is a tactical pause rather than a structural shift, as both likely aim to ease tensions. But the truce will help stabilise global sentiment and trade expectations in the short term, which offers relief for global demand and supply chains.

"Nevertheless, we still think that structural decoupling between the U.S. and China will continue to shape the long-term outlook."

GYEONGJU (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday he did not discuss chipmaker Nvidia's state-of-art Blackwell artificial intelligence chip during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

He was walking back the previous day's remarks about potentially helping the company to export a scaled-down version of its current flagship GPU processor, a key component in the AI race.

But Nvidia's hopes to get approval from the United States and China to sell a scaled-down version of its most powerful AI chip yet took a hit from Trump's comments on Thursday.

"We're not talking about Blackwell chips," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, after leaving the meeting with Xi, their first since he returned to the White House.

En route to South Korea on Wednesday, he said he might discuss the chip with the Chinese leader.

SINGAPORE (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump held talks with China's Xi Jinping at a South Korean air base on Thursday, with both leaders sounding optimistic about cooling trade tensions between the world's two largest economies.
