Pentagon considers stripping 20 Medal of Honor recipients amid probe into Wounded Knee Massacre in which soldiers slaughtered Native American women and children

The Pentagon has launched a review that could see 20 Medals of Honor awarded to soldiers in the Wounded Knee Massacre rescinded. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered the review into the awards handed to those who participated in the 1890 battle in South Dakota. Around 250 Native Americans, including women and children, were killed in the fight and at least another 100 were wounded. Medals of Honor were given to 20 soldiers from the 7th Cavalry regiment for their actions on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation near Wounded Knee Creek.

Cops have cuffed 14 people who allegedly oversaw a human trafficking operation at Comic-Con in San Diego - saving 10 victims, including a 16-year-old girl. The three-day sting took place over the weekend with officers from San Diego Human Trafficking Task Force acting undercover as sex buyers in order to bust the traffickers. 'Unfortunately, sex traffickers capitalize on large-scale events such as Comic-Con to exploit their victims for profit,' AG Rob Bonta said.
