On Friday, Feb. 20, the "6 Months Later" hitmaker released her new albumCloud 9, featuring the breakup anthem"Who Hurt You?,"whichfans last month speculatedcould be about the "You Look Like You Love Me" singer.
On the track, Moroney, 28, sings, "I was blinded by the lies / And the manufactured smile / The devil went down to Georgia / Then he crossed the 'Bama line."

Later, she sings, "Hometown happy hours / The hand-delivered flowers / You looked me in the eyes and told me what was yours was ours".
The lyrics not only reference Green's home state of Alabama, wherefans spotted the pair driving around last May, but speculation that the "If It Wasn't for Trucks" performergot veneers.
On the bridge, Moroney sings, "You said you needed less flashy, more fun / Oh, of course she's twenty-one / On your arm through the bar," which could be referencingReddit chatterabout Green, 37, being allegedly spotted with younger women.
Last month, Moroneyspoke with media personality Elaina Smithabout why her forthcoming track "Who Hurt You?" is so vulnerable, noting that she went "bar for bar" and "said everything" so that she no longer has to respond to questions about what she vaguely referred to as the "situation."
Moroney said that there should be "no further questions."
"Like you said, I'm pretty consistently vulnerable, but there's one song, 'Who Hurt You?' that I'm really excited for. Bar for bar, didn't lie, said everything so that I don't have to answer interview questions about the situation,"she said at the time.
Added Moroney, "Yeah, and here's my piece, and there's no reason to ask me any questions about it because I told you what I needed to say. I'm try to just be efficient here… I'm like, have you heard the song? Like, there should be no further questions."

At the time, fans speculated who the inspiration was for the song.
"Def about Riley !!!!!" one TikTok commenter wrote, while another added, "Riley Green watching this," with a meme fromThe Simpsonswith the text "I'm in danger."
PEOPLE has reached out to reps for Green for comment.
Moroney was linked to Green in early 2025 after TikTok fans thought they were on vacation together.
However, by March, the "There Was this Girl" artist said he was "single" on theIn the Blindpodcast.
Green had previously been linked toElla Langley, with whom he's done a pair of duets.
On Thursday, Feb. 19, Moroney surprised top Spotify listeners with an intimate album Q&A withJessie Jo Dillonand Luke Laird and performance at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

During the event, hosted by former PEOPLE staffer Tomás Mier, Moroney debuted a handful ofCloud 9songs live for the first time, including the title track, "Medicine," "Liars & Tigers & Bears" and "Wedding Dress." She also performed her smash hit "6 Months Later," as well as "Wish I Didn't."
