Urgent warning to dog owners as tainted treats are recalled across America
An urgent warning has been issued to dog owners about dog treats which could be contaminated with salmonella. The Food and Drug Administration announced that Carolina Prime Pet Inc. has recalled bags of dog treats across 19 states. The North Carolina company initiated the recall of 400 of its' 16-ounce bag 'Hollywood Feed Carolina Made Chicken Chips' treats on November 22. The treats were sold from Hollywood Feed stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
