Katy Perry team member Chris Anokute was slammed Thursday on social media after he purportedly praised Dr. Luke, following the singer's successful outing a night before at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. A screengrab of an Instagram Stories post from Anokute - a music industry professional who has worked with Perry, 39, as an A&R - had been circulating Thursday evening on multiple accounts, which he was said to have deleted.
