A much-loved Texas brewery that shot to fame during the pandemic is set to close. The Weathered Souls Brewing Co. in San Antonio will close its doors for the last time on September 22, the company announced last week. The brewery grabbed national headlines for creating a stout called Black is Beautiful and raising $2 million following the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis in 2020. The beer, the recipe for which was shared with other breweries, was used to generate profits for charities focused on police reform and the victims of police brutality.
