Patrick Mahomes Sr. pleaded guilty to his third charge of driving while intoxicated. The 54-year-old former athlete — whose son is Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes — entered the guilty plea in Smith County, Texas on Tuesday, Aug. 27 just before a trial was set to begin on his third-degree felony charge, according to the court records obtained by PEOPLE.
