America is the cursing capital of the world as new research shows US-based social media users deploy more curse words than those in any other country. And a state-by-state breakdown shows Maryland residents are the biggest culprits for swearing, followed by those in Louisiana, Georgia and Virginia respectively. The top ten cursing capitals in the US was rounded out by: Ohio, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Nevada, New Jersey and Michigan. But New York was noticeably absent from the list - compiled by online scrabble game WordTips - surprising local residents.
