Wesley Snipes Didnt Think Marvel Was Into Him Returning as Blade-Then Ryan Reynolds Called

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly after the Hall H panel at Comic-Con 2024 on Thursday, July 26, Snipes spoke about how Ryan Reynolds asked him to reprise the role of Blade in the new Marvel movie. "Over the years, we've had very interesting conversations, some of them very substantive and some of them not," the actor — who played the role of Blade in 1998's Blade, 2002's Blade II and 2004's Blade: Trinity — told EW at the outlet's Comic-Con suite.
