The Boys may be signing off after its upcoming fifth and final season, but Soldier Boy's adventures won't stop there. Jensen Ackles, who plays the super-powered character, announced during the Friday, July 26 panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 that he will reprise his role in a prequel series entitled Vought Rising, which will be "a lurid pulp prequel set in New York City at the dawn of the '50s about the humble beginnings of the Vought Corporation.
