Good Morning America anchors George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts were honored with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for their contributions to television and journalism
Stephanopoulos was joined by his wife, Ali Wentworth, and their daughters, Elliott and Harper, at the Thursday, Nov. 5 ceremony
The family of four also posed with Stephanopoulos’ longtime friend Michael J. Fox, who gave a speech in the journalist’s honor
George Stephanopoulos’ daughters traveled to Los Angeles to celebrate their father’s new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The journalist, 65, and his Good Morning America co-anchor, Robin Roberts, were each awarded their own stars for their contributions to television and journalism. They were joined by their families, alongside famous friends Michael J. Fox, Michael Strahan and Niecy Nash-Betts. Stephanopoulos’ wife, Ali Wentworth, and their daughters, Harper, 21, and Elliott, 24, joined him for the occasion on Thursday, Nov. 5.
During the ceremony, the family of four posed together in one photo, smiling and embracing one another. A second photo captured Wentworth, 61, and Harper posing on the ground next to the star as Elliott made a funny pose while standing next to her father.
Fox, 65, spoke in celebration of Stephanopoulos’ accomplishment, and the family of four later posed with him beside the star.

Stephanopoulos also expressed gratitude for his years on GMA and the opportunity to work alongside Roberts, 65, and Strahan, 54.
“This is one of those never could’ve imagined moments,” Stephanopoulos said on Thuesday. “But really, being at Good Morning America, I feel like that just about every day…”
“The chance to cover the biggest, most consequential stories of our time, to interview the most interesting and inspiring people of our time, to be able to say good morning to the entire country every morning, not knowing what they’re going through, but trying to help guide them with the information, the advice that they need to get their day started and maybe put a smile on their face, as well, that is a great gift,” he continued.
Stephanopoulos, who served as an advisor to former President Bill Clinton during Clinton’s first term in office and joined ABC News in 1996, has co-anchored GMA since 2009. He has kept his daughters out of the spotlight, except on rare occasions to celebrate their milestones.
After Elliott graduated from Brown University in May 2025, the proud father shared several pictures on Instagram from her graduation day.
“We have a college graduate!!!” he captioned his post. “Congratulations to Elliott, and to the entire class of 2025. We love you and are so proud of you, E!”
In the comments, Elliott expressed her love for her dad’s support, writing, “Love you daddy.”

In the spring of 2023, he shared glimpses of Harper’s senior year of high school, including a sweet prom photo and her graduation celebrations. Months later, in August 2023, he shared a photo from Harper’s high school graduation along with several photos of the family throughout the summer. “My daughters call this a ‘photo dump,’ ” he cheekily captioned the post.
In a separate post, he shared a few blurry snaps of his daughters enjoying Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
