About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement ABU DHABI – Nurullo Aliev is ready to show his next level at UFC 333.

Undefeated lightweight Aliev (12-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) draws Grant Dawson (24-3-1 MMA, 12-2-1 UFC) on Saturday's prelims from Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi ( Paramount+ ). Aliev has showed off his grappling prowess throughout his UFC career so far but aims to present a more well rounded version of himself against Dawson.

"Me and Grant Dawson with ranking top 15," Aliev told MMA Junkie. "Grant Dawson is a good fighter. I'm ready. This is MMA. It doesn't matter if it's wrestling, striking. My coach every day is training me wrestling and striking. Dawson wants to wrestle, I'm ready. Dawson wants to go striking, I'm ready. My fights, not every fight is grappling. ... I'm young. I'm every day hard training. I'm a mountain guy. My gym has many people that are very good grapplers. My second and third opponents were black belts. Every fight I'm improving. I've been growing."

After beating the likes of Rafael Alves and Mike Davis, Aliev gets a step up in competition in Dawson, whom he sees catapulting him to the rankings.

"My only focus is Grant Dawson," Aliev said. "Inshallah I win, and I have a surprise (callout). My plan is inshallah I win this fight, after this fight top 10, after this fight top five, then title."
